Im pretty sure about 90 % sure that i didnt install an update recently. so i click the help button in the window and i read the article about it and it says this is either because of a recently installed update, or a virus.
Now I try and open safari it was a little slower than before, and all of a sudden this window comes up and saying an update was installed and wanted to know if i wanted to transfer keychains and it said (this includes passwords). I did not have "Mail" in my dock, and now it was in there, but its icon was a ? same with imovie, the apple OS X icon was next to my trash, u know the one that take u to the apple website. I log in, and icons in my dock that I had before are gone, This was things like Halo, Zoo tycoon, Limewire, other apps. Then I wait a couple of minutes and turn it on. I unplug my computer, unplugging the cord connected into the computer, not the outlet. Then I try to log out and restart from there, cannot log out. So I try and restart, I got to the blue apple and click "Restart", does not work. itunes was playing during the downloading process and after it was done. If I clicked on one it would just bounce on the dock and never open. Then my computer starts acting slow and I cannot open another application at all. I look it up in spotlight, using the exact words it shows in limewire, not there. So when it finishes downloading I go and try and find it in my hard drive, not there. Specifically 1. I was downloading something off of limewire, i know its bad. I wont ramble on about the awful new limewire with advertising bar, but I could use some help finding a site to download OLD versions of limewire from please.
